The client's goal was to provide their customers with a QR code to easily explore their menu and place an order No more waiting for the waitress.

We delivered

We delivered a web app in ReactJS that includes a landing page for gathering potential clients and a menu application that scans the establishment’s menu using the phone’s camera and a QR Code. We also delivered native apps for iOS and Android, along with a dashboard built in ReactJS to allow the customer to add and edit their items.

This project works by having QR codes distributed on the restaurant tables. Each QR code contains an ID for the company and another for the table. After the user scans the QR code, it redirects them to the web app with the restaurant menu. It can also open the native apps if they are installed, through deep linking technology.

Our partner created an outstanding design for us, following mobile guidelines and implementing an adaptive design for the web app.

We developed the native apps in Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS, using deep link technology to connect with the web app. The web app itself was built using ReactJS, as well as the dashboard for content creation.
